On September 11, the Global Strategy Lab and South Centre held a webinar to discuss design principles for a successful scientific panel. AMR and climate change experts explored what a scientific panel on AMR could mean for low- and middle-income countries and those advocating for an evidence-informed approach to AMR policymaking.

Upcoming research by the Global Strategy Lab’s AMR Policy Accelerator in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) shows findings on gender-specific risks associated with antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The collaborative analysis by the AMR Policy Accelerator and WHO found that women, particularly in low-resource settings, are at a higher risk of drug-resistant infections due to menstrual hygiene needs and labor divisions.
